For this year’s Silver Oak/Twomey dinner, our wine director Rina decided to do what she calls a “wine tasting challenge.”

On Wednesday, April 3, she’ll be pouring two different expressions of Silver Oak Cabernet: Same vintage but one from Alexander Valley and the other from Napa Valley. And likewise, she’ll be pouring two expressions of Twomey Pinot Noir: One from Russian River and the other from Bien Nacido (Central Coast).

As the guests enjoy the wines paired with Chef Harvey’s tasting menu, Rina will be asking guests to share their different impressions of the wines.

It will be a study in what they call “terroir” in the wine business: The expression of the “place” where the wines are grown.

It’s sure to be an epic evening not to miss! We hope you can join us (just a few spots left).
