The Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, where Chef Harvey honed his skills all those years ago
The Siena blogger recently had the opportunity to visit the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners in the northwestern Italian region of Piedmont.
Piedmont is home to some of Italy’s greatest chefs and foods, like white Alba truffles and porcini mushrooms, some of the best beef in Europe, Italy’s most famous aged cheeses, and, of course, Barolo and Barbaresco, its two greatest wines.
It’s also home to the school where Chef Harvey first honed his skills as a world-class Italian chef all those years ago.
It’s a top-flight center for gastronomic learning and one of the most celebrated cooking schools in the world.
We highly recommend taking a look at its website to get a sense of how it trains culinary professionals like Chef Harvey to then go out into the world and share the joy and magic of Italian food.
Bravo, Chef Harvey!
