Scialatielli: Housemade Neapolitan pasta with seafood for our Amalfi Coast dinner!

That’s scialatielli pasta from the Amalfi Coast. It’s pronounced SHAH-lah-TEE’EHL-lee. The name comes from Neapolitan dialect: scialare (enjoy) tiella (the pan).

In other words, its the perfect pasta to absorb all the flavors of the sauce.

On Monday, August 6, Chef Harvey will be serving housemade scialatelli with frutti di mare (a seafood medley, “the fruits of the sea”) as part of his Amalfi Coast Food and Wine Pairing event.
