Tuscany in the spring
Just ask Chef Harvey. He knows because he lived and worked in Tuscany where he cooked at one of the region’s most famous restaurants.
There’s nothing like Tuscany in the spring…
The photo above was sent to us today by a friend of Siena.
He happens to be in Chianti Classico on his way to Verona to the Italian wine trade fairs, which begin this week.
“It couldn’t have been a more beautiful sight,” he wrote.
“The rolling hills are a thousand shades of green,” he said. “And the flowers are just beginning to bloom.”
Anyone who’s ever been to Italy — at any time of year — will tell you how beautiful the countryside is there.
That beauty inspired us every day at Siena where we bring a little bit Tuscany to Austin, Texas every time we serve one of Chef Harvey’s classic Tuscan dishes or open a bottle of Chianti Classico.
