On Monday, September 16, Siena Ristorante Toscana will be celebrating two of Italy’s greatest wines with the families who produce them: Piero Incisa della Rocchetta of the famed Tenuta San Guido on the Tuscan coast, producer of Sassicaia; and Alberto Chiarlo, the current generation of one of Italy’s greatest Barolo producers, Michele Chiarlo.

Six wines will be opened that evening, including Chiarlo’s Barolo Tortonia and Barolo Cerequio and San Guido’s Sassicaia.

Chef Harvey is currently working on the menu and we will post details as soon as possible.

And we will also be posting notes on the wines and why they are considered to be some of the world’s finest wines (the photo above was taken by our webmaster when he visited San Guido a few years ago).
