Not just any Pinot Grigio at Siena…

best pinot grigio austin texas

Pinot Grigio is everywhere! It’s grown in Italy, it’s grown in California… It’s even grown in Texas these days…

Some of it’s great, some of it’s plonk…

At Siena, we like to reach for the “original” Pinot Grigio. We’re talking about Pinot Grigio grown in the Alpine valley of German-Speaking Italy in South Tyrol (which used to be part of Austria).

They’ve grown Pinot Grigio there for more than three centuries and they have the altitude and the cool summers needed to deliver that fresh, acidity-driven, food-friendly Pinot Grigio that we love — especially on a hot Austin summer night.

We’re currently pouring Terlan Pinot Grigio by the glass. It’s a wine that speaks German and goes great with Chef Harvey’s classic fried calamari.

Buon weekend, yall!
