The Palio in Austin Thurs. Oct. 13!

In the days leading up to the Palio (the name of the banner synonymous with the legendary Tuscan horse race) the city of Siena comes alive with singing, eating and dancing in the streets. The constant banging of drums and the festive cheers of Siena’s citizens echo throughout the Tuscan countryside. Colorful banners fly in every neighborhood signifying the different contrade that will compete in the race. Nowhere is the spirit of the Tuscan people more visible than at this time. Here at Siena Ristorante Toscano we strive to capture that moment, where friends, family and neighbors come together in a celebration of life, food and friendship.
